What is an Arthrosamid® Injection?
Arthrosamid® is a non-surgical, injectable treatment specifically developed for people suffering from knee osteoarthritis (OA). Unlike traditional treatments that often rely on repeated medications or invasive surgery, Arthrosamid® offers a long-lasting solution through a single injection.
At the core, Arthrosamid® is a permanent hydrogel implant. This hydrogel is made up of 97.5% water and 2.5% cross-linked polyacrylamide, designed to integrate safely into the soft tissue of the knee. Once injected into the intra-articular space of the knee joint, it cushions and lubricates the joint, providing relief from pain, inflammation, and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis.
